The Summer Programme for 2026 is here!

We have so many activities taking place throughout the summer to keep the kids entertained. There is bound to be something for almost every child to enjoy.

We have lots of crafts, brass rubbing, get hands-on with our collection, science family day, fossil morning, clay,  art workshops for older children and of course not forgetting our twice a week LEGO® Club.

Prices range from free to £10 so there is something to fit every families budget.

All of these events, excluding the Children’s Art Workshops, are held in our main galleries which are fully air-conditioned.

Food and drink are not allowed in the galleries as this can attract pest such as mice and ants, which pose a huge risk to the objects within our collection.
