An exhibition of artwork from members of the Wantage Art Group.

Wantage Art Group began more than thirty years ago and have a wide variety of members, using various creative mediums.

They have been exhibiting at the museum for many years and we are so proud to be able to support this wonderful local group.

Please do pop into the museum and check out the exhibition in the Squires Gallery.

Monday 1st - Saturday 13th July. Open during normal opening hours.

Free admission but donations to the museum are welcomed.

Jim's Stores; The early days of a well-known grocery business in Wantage along with tales of the mysterious Matron Elsie Gauion of Wantage Hospital a possible WW2 spy and other fascinating local historical stories.

This event is suitable for people aged 16+

The Museum Café will be open before and after this talk, where refreshments will be available to purchase. Last food orders at 3pm. Please note food and drink are not permitted in the museum galleries, where the talks are held, so please allow enough time to visit the café.
