Stanford In The Vale - The Hidden Past Exhibition
Since 2008 the University of Winchester has worked with the Stanford In The Vale community to research the archaeology of their village. This project, directed by David Ashby, revealed the origins and growth of the settlement from it's earliest beginnings to the present day. The key findings and objects from the fascinating excavations will be on display in this special exhibition.
Free admission but donations welcome.
This exhibition runs from 25th January til 25th April 2020
Alfie's Stay and Play
Bring your little ones to this relaxed session where they can join Alfie bear as he plays with lots of toys, makes something to take home (optional) and listens to a story (optional)
These sessions are for children under 5.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Suggested donation of £1 per child.
Wantage Health Walk
The Wantage Health Walks group meet at the Museum at 10am every Thursday, walk for about 40 minutes around lanes and byways of Wantage discovering bits of the town you may not have seen before. Finish at the Museum for tea, coffee or hot chocolate and have a good chat.
No need to book in advance just come along on the day. Please note there will be a short form to complete on your first walk.
