Stanford In The Vale - The Hidden Past Exhibition
Since 2008 the University of Winchester has worked with the Stanford In The Vale community to research the archaeology of their village. This project, directed by David Ashby, revealed the origins and growth of the settlement from it's earliest beginnings to the present day. The key findings and objects from the fascinating excavations will be on display in this special exhibition.
Free admission but donations welcome.
This exhibition runs from 25th January til 25th April 2020
Mini Music at the Museum
Museum volunteers Sem, Maureen and Hazel are back with their very popular Mini Music at the Museum for the autumn/winter 2019 sessions.
Join in with traditional songs and rhymes accompanied by live music played on a variety of instruments.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Suggested donation of £1 per child.

Join Project Director David Ashby as he talks about the key findings from the fascinating excavations.
There will also be an opportunity to view the accompanying special exhibition.
Tickets are £5 for Friends of the VDM or £7 for visitors. Tickets available from the Museum Reception.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
